About the Residence
Üsküdar Men’s Student Residence
Sancak Üsküdar Men’s Student Residence offers students on the Anatolian Side a simple, orderly place to live that is well suited to study. Its location in Kısıklı is within walking distance of the M5 metro line and the main bus routes.
Our facilities: unlimited fibre internet, open buffet breakfast and evening meal, 24-hour security, cameras and a card access system, hot water 24/7, a study hall, laundry room and ironing room, central heating, a fire detection system, a generator, water coolers, a prayer room, and a shared kitchen and common-area fridge on every floor. The common areas are cleaned every day.
We have five room options: single, two-person standard, two-person en-suite, three-person and four-person. Our two-person en-suite rooms have the shower and WC in the room; our other rooms use the well-kept shared bathrooms on each floor. A bed base, wardrobe, desk, bookshelf and bedside table are standard in every room.

From the airport
M4+M5 / HVİST-4 55–90 minFrom Sabiha Gökçen Airport take the M4 metro to Kadıköy, then the M5 metro to Bulgurlu. From Istanbul Airport, take the HVİST-4 and change at Kadıköy.

Frequently asked questions about this residence
Our registration process has three steps: (1) You fill in the pre-registration form on our website, (2) our residence manager calls you within 24 hours to confirm room type, term and pricing, (3) and you tour the residence by appointment and sign your registration contract. For students coming from other cities, we also offer virtual tours by video call and online contracts.
Final registration requires a copy of your ID, a student certificate (or ÖSYM placement result), 2 passport photos, a proof of address and, for students under 18, parental consent. Sending the documents by e-mail in advance speeds up your registration day.
The monthly fee includes an open buffet breakfast, four hot dishes each evening, unlimited fibre internet, electricity, water and gas, 24/7 hot water, heating, cleaning of rooms and common areas, use of the laundry room, study hall, library and all available social facilities. No compulsory service carries an extra charge.
We offer annual, per-term and monthly payment plans. Annual advance payments receive a discount of %10, and per-term advance payments a discount of %5 . Through our partner banks, credit card payments can be spread over up to 9 instalments with no interest. Sibling discounts and Sancak alumni referral discounts are also available.
A deposit equal to one month’s fee is taken at registration. At the end of the term, once the room and fixtures have been checked and no damage is found, your deposit is refunded to your bank account within 15 business days.
Students may leave the residence until 22:30 and return until 00:00; outside these hours entry and exit are not permitted for security reasons. All entries and exits are logged by the card access system, and parents are notified in case of lateness.
